Osteopathy

Philip von Hauenschild graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 1998. Having studied the violin until the age of 22 (and having suffered back ache!) he became interested in posture and movement patterns. Consequently his work at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London working with primary movement patterns, combined with his love of racquet sports emphasised the need for a whole body osteopathic concept. He taught at the BCOM (British College of Osteopathic Medicine) for 5 years and since 2002 teaches at Oxford Brookes University. He has lectured and runs courses in the UK, Germany, Israel, Denmark and Portugal. He is married and has two daughters.

Elizabeth Ferraci’s background is in the fitness industry, where she worked in different health clubs in London as fitness instructor, personal trainer and manager. From her early days in the gym she wanted to help people with injuries, aches and pains and as a natural progression she started taking courses in Sports and Remedial Massage, Sports injuries, Craniosacral therapy and Lymphatic drainage, mostly at St Mary’s University in Twickenham.

Elizabeth has been working at different health clubs and clinics in London and Oxford for the past 10 years while studying Osteopathy for the past 5 years at Oxford Brookes University, from where she recently graduated. She is also a matwork Pilates teacher and a devotee of Yoga, meditation and natural remedies.

She believes in educating people about their bodies and looking after their own health in a natural way, investing in proper nutrition, exercise, rest, healthy living and positive thinking, to look forward to a life full of energy, vitality, optimal health and wellbeing. People spend much of their time in artificial environments, pollution, dehydration and modern lifestyle stressors, without natural light and fresh air.

Elizabeth likes to work with people from all walks of life and empower them to look after themselves in a holistic and natural way.
